Today May 9, 2013 I visited Old Naledi- a community in the outskirts of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. The children were gathered under the shade of a tree in an open space in the middle of the community and I had the opportunity to read a book to the children with the aim to share the love for reading. At the end, I donated some books I brought from the United States, some my own, some from my friends, to the children of the Old Naledi Community. I truly hope they will have a bright future by nurturing the love for books- bright like a "Star"- "Naledi." What a memorable and touching experience I had today!
